Burning Calories

Are you having nightmares about the bathroom scale?!  Get some peace of mind by wearing a calorie counting pedometer or sports watch.  Once you get one make sure that it's programmed
for your correct weight.

I recently discovered that my running watch was still at the factory settings for weight and age.  Once I corrected that I unfortunately found out I was burning up to 100 calories less a mile than I thought I was!  That can really add up!  That means 2600 less calories were burned during my marathon.

On the other hand, when I corrected the settings in my dad's watch, he now knows he's burning 100 MORE calories that he'd thought he was.
